Investor signs the Subscription Documents for the EB-5 Project

Investor makes the qualifying investment

Average time: 1 month

Conditional Green Card

Investor’s attorney files Immigrant Petition (Form I-526) for Conditional Green Card

Investor and his/her family receive 2-year Conditional Green Card

Interview at the Consulate and entry into the U.S.

Average time: 18-24 months

Permanent Green Card

90 days before the expiration of the temporary green card, immigration attorney submits I - 829 petition to remove conditions

Investor and his/her family receive Permanent Green Card

Return of the EB-5 investment funds

Average time: 24-36 months

The whole process of obtaining permanent residency through the EB-5 program takes about 5 years, depending upon the USCIS timeliness and quality of the investor’s submissions.
